In most cases 'off the shelf' software will adequately meet the needs of your business. For those situations where it cannot, KRW Digital can provide custom made software to fill the gap.

KRW Digital employs best practice software development methodologies and utilises open source solutions to help you reduce costs. Where ever possible, the software that we develop is written using cross-platform capable technologies, adding flexibility and protecting your investment (see the technology section below).

Establishing a presence

Some have said that not having a web site is the equivalent of business suicide. At KRW Digital we believe that this is a gross overstatement, but understand the origins of the sentiment. Many individuals will prefer to use your web site as an initial point of contact even if they subsequently conduct business either over the phone or in person. Your web site allows them to become comfortable with your business and familiar with the products and services you offer. For these reasons it is important for your business to have a web presence.

Moving beyond 'a presence'

Once you have established a basic web presence, you should look for ways to use your web site to better serve your clients. This might involve offering an online shopping service, electronic invoicing, accepting credit card payments, providing order tracking, customised client areas, offering product manuals or other more industry specific services. KRW Digital can help you utilise your web site to your businesses best advantage.

Fully Managed Hosting

As well as offering web site design and development services KRW Digital also offers fully managed web site hosting solutions from as little as $11.00 per month with a $27.50 setup fee. KRW Digital can organise your domain name (third party fees may apply) and we will publish and manage either a web site you provide or one that we have created for you.

At this point in time KRW Digital is not able to offer self managed web sites.

Please note that a 1GB traffic limit currently applies to web sites hosted by KRW Digital. Additional transfers will be charged at $11.00/GB

Efficiency

Opperational efficiency should be at the heart of your Information Technology infrastructure. KRW Digital can design and configure networks and network servers to deliver the best performance for you organisation including the following:

• Mail Servers
• Backup Servers
• Intranet/Internet Web Servers
• Database Servers
• Firewall/Routing Servers

These need not be physically seperate devices, but in some cases it is recommended. You can choose any of the above to be integrated into your existing network for as little as $849.00 (depending on your existing network configuration).

KRW Digital prefers Debian GNU/Linux servers but can provide Microsoft based solutions also.

Fail-over mail servers

If you already operate your own primary mail server, KRW Digital can provide two fail-over mail servers for your domain for $11.00 per month (no account limits, traffic limits apply).
