Virtual Support Box
Here at KRW Digital we are always looking for better ways to support our customers. We are considering introducing a Virtual Support Box that would simplify and secure the process of providing remote desktop support.

The box would be leased on a 6 or 12 month contract with a monthly service fee of $55 that includes five fifteen minute initial service blocks (potentially saving you $100 per month). The setup fee (for 5 or less client systems) would be $250 on the 12 month contract or $400 on the 6 month contract.

SimpleUNO - Project Update
SimpleUNO is a library that offers simplified access to the OpenOffice.org UNO API for document generation (as opposed to document editing). Currently SimpleUNO only provides access to the text document features of OpenOffice.org supporting the most important text formatting features, including:
  • Character Attributes (bold, italic, font size, font family, colour and more)
  • Paragraph Attributes (Adjustment/Alignment, predefined paragraph styles, lists, numbering and more)
  • Table of Contents (from user defined styles)
  • Images
  • Tables
  • Document Templates

We are currently putting the finishing touches on the initial release and look forward to publishing it soon.
